STEM Activity – Next Stop is Mars

As part of our ongoing effort to promote STEM education, the STEM Education Committee put together an interesting seminar, titled “Next Stop is Mars”, for all F.1 students on 23rd January 2019. We invited Dr. Leung, lecturer of Astrophysics from the Chinese University, to give us a talk on the space missions to Mars. The event was a huge success with very positive feedback from students. We will continue to do our best to offer our students more exposure in the STEM fields.

F.6 Last Day for Class 2019

On the 18th January 2019, our F.6 boys of the Class 2018 had their last day of lesson in school. Following our decade old tradition, the F.6 boys put together a farewell ceremony to say goodbye to their teachers, younger Xavieran brothers and their alma mater. With their class teachers, they formed a giant human clock to represent the exact time of the last school bell for them signalling the end of their secondary school life. After this day, they are on their journey of final preparation for the HKDSE. Good luck, boys of Class 2019. Fight on with that Xaverian spirit!

SFXC Home-coming Concert 2018

On 29th December, 2018 (Saturday), over 500 alumni, guests, parents and students gathered at the school hall and had a warm and wonderful winter night enjoying the home-coming concert organised by the Alumni Association. It has almost been a decade since the last home-coming concert staged in 2009. Xaverians from a wide range of graduating years as early as the 60s were invited back to the stage and bring the audience band songs, pops, fun and joy.
