| World Book Day 2008 |
|
World Book Day was originally designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. The main aim of World Book Day is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own. With similar aim in mind, our school took part in this meaningful event. From 23rd April to 24th April, a series of fun activities, for instance, book exhibition, exchange of second-hand books and meeting with local author, were organized for personal enrichment and enjoyment of all. |
