The Chairman of the English Society and the four House Captains kicked off the English Week by the Olympic torch relay during the morning assembly on 28^th April 2008. Our Principal, Mr. Yuen, officiated at the opening ceremony and suggested that it was both essential and critical to create an English speaking environment in our school.

On the theme of Beijing Olympic Games, a wide range of activities are organized for all students to participate in during the English Week, for instance, mini-concert, treasure hunt, video quiz, slogan design competition, obstacle run and other speaking activities during recesses, lunch breaks and English lessons throughout the English Week. It is hoped that students’ interest in learning English is further enhanced by participating in games and fun.
