Dear Principal, teachers and fellow schoolmates,
I am Ivan Leung from form 4B. Today I am going to give you a speech about ‘Star Wars’. ‘Star Wars’ is one of my most favorite movie series of all time.
The character I admire the most is Anakin Skywalker. He is the “Chosen One “ in the ancient saying, who would bring balance to the force, and he was discovered by Qui-gon Jinn, a Jedi master, and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, at Tatooine. They want to bring Anakin back to the Jedi temple, but unfortunately, Qui-gon was killed by Darth Maul, a sith. Obi-wan then trained Anakin and when he completed his training, he then trained Ashoka Tano as to complete his way to become a Jedi master. But, chancellor Palpatine, the president of the republic, also a sith lord, declared himself as an emperor, decided to get Anakin to his side, and Anakin then declared Palpatine as his dark side master. He then hunt down Jedi alive, and his former master, and the Jedi high master, Yoda survived this attack. They trained Anakin’s son as a Jedi, and beat down Anakin in episode 6. Anakin was dead in Death star II, during the battle of Endor.
I am now looking forward to the new Star Wars VII as there are new sith lord and the formation of the new republic and the dawn of the empire. It will be in theatres in mid-December.
