The Evangelization Weeks this academic year ran from March 9 to March 27, 2026. They came at a good time in the term, when many of us were busy and stressed. The activities reminded us that school life is not only about academics, but also about taking care of our spiritual life.
One of the highlights was the chapel sessions with Ms. Marina Carmel Cindy Ng. With the religious icons and the harp music, our Forms 1 to 5 boys took turns to join the session at the chapel to slow down, be quiet, and reflect, taking a spiritual break from studying and daily routines.
At lunchtime on 11 March, religious songs were sung at the school covered playground. The gathering reminded us that we are not facing school stress alone. It also helped build a sense of unity in the school.
On 19 March, we were also honoured to have Fr. Ng, O.P. celebrate Mass with us as part of the Evangelization Week. The Mass was one of the meaningful moments of the programme and encouraged us to continue practising what we had experienced—prayer, quiet reflection, and music—not only during the Evangelization Weeks but also in the weeks ahead, especially during exams.
We hope the Evangelization Weeks can help everyone on campus feel more settled and remind us to make time for faith and reflection even during a busy term.
