Prize Presentation of the Konrad Cup 2017-2018

Konrad Cup has been a popular annual event gathering our graduates over the years at our “banana-shaped playground”. This year, there were a total of 24 participating teams and 53 football matches held on 9 Sundays.

The annual alumni event was drawn to a complete close on 18th March with a simple but heart-warming prize-presentation ceremony.

Congratulations to all the winning teams! To download all the photos of the day, please visit the Facebook page of SFXCAA: http://www.facebook.com/SFXCAlumniAssociation/

F.3 Parents Gathering 2017-2018

The Parents’ Gatherings have always been an important channel to facilitate communication and mutual understanding between the school and the parents. On 17th March, it was the F.3 parents’ turn. Around 140 of them attended the gathering, which included a one-and-a-half-hour seminar and a 30-minute meeting between form teachers and parents. With the help from teachers, student helpers and volunteers from PTA, the event was concluded successfully with lots of positive feedback from F.3 parents.

SFX Junior Ambassadors Inauguration Ceremony 2017-2018

Each year, students with outstanding academic performances (Top 15 students of the junior forms in the first term) are honoured as the SFX Junior Ambassadors of that year. This year, parents of these students were invited to the Inauguration Ceremony to share the joy and honour with their sons on the 16th of March 2018. A Letter of Acknowledgement was sent to the respective primary schools for having laid a solid foundation for these students’ academic success. The ambassadors would then pay a visit to their Alma Mater to extend their heartfelt gratitude to their primary school teachers who laboured to foster the students’ growth and development. Through this practice, students’ effort in their school work was recognized and it is hoped that they will learn to appreciate the effort of all those who have contributed to their successes.
