SFXC Home-coming Concert 2018

On 29th December, 2018 (Saturday), over 500 alumni, guests, parents and students gathered at the school hall and had a warm and wonderful winter night enjoying the home-coming concert organised by the Alumni Association. It has almost been a decade since the last home-coming concert staged in 2009. Xaverians from a wide range of graduating years as early as the 60s were invited back to the stage and bring the audience band songs, pops, fun and joy.

Christmas Overnight Party 2018-2019

The yearly Christmas overnight party was held from the 24th evening to the morning of 25th of December. It began with the talk and sharing by Br. John on the meaning of Christmas and some facts and story of the Star of Bethlehem by the Chair person of the school Astronomy Club. The Catholic students were invited and encouraged to do confession in order to prepare their spirits and minds to welcome Christ during the Christmas Eve Mass.

At around 11:30 p.m., after the Mass, the water balloon fight began. All participants enjoyed the exciting game. It was followed by various games at our School hall. At around 2:30 a.m., participants were divided into groups to enjoy the booth games put together by different clubs of the school. At 4 a.m., all the participants enjoyed a BBQ till dawn. The event ended with the Morning Prayer and the three cheers at 7a.m. It was surely a memorable experience for all our junior boys.

Christmas Eve Mass 2018

The Christmas Eve Mass this year was held at our School hall on 24th December 2018. It was attended by Brothers, teachers, students, alumni, parents and friends that almost filled up. The Mass was presided over by a newly ordained visiting priest Fr. Cheung.

Christmas Party 2018 and Casual Wear Fund Raising Day

On the 21st December 2018, we had our annual Christmas Party and Casual Wear Fund Raising Day. This year we held various events to help raise fund for renovating our Brothers’ living quarter. As usual, the Student Unions put together a host of charity events, including teacher-student friendly matches in e-sports, quiz competitions and physical contests. The events attracted lots of participants and enthusiastic spectators. It was a day for fun and thanksgiving as we remembered the birth of Christ our Lord and also the Brothers who exemplified His love in our midst.
