The Summer Bridging Course for the new Form 1 students was held from 16 July to 24 July, lasting a total of 7 days.
During the course, students became accustomed to learning in English. Daily English lessons, taught by Native English Teachers, covered topics such as phonics, classroom language, note-taking and presentation skills. Content subjects — namely Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography — were taught by our Form 6 graduates, who were selected for their excellent academic performance and conduct.
The course concluded with a graduation ceremony, during which certificates were awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding learning attitudes and conduct. Our School Principal Mr. Leung, encouraged our new F1 boys to make the best use of their summer holidays to prepare themselves for the new school life. The Course Principal, Mr. Isaac Ho Wai Ching, gave heartfelt remarks, urging them to take their learning seriously, show empathy, and build trust within the Xaverian family.
We hope our Form 1 boys will carry this positive spirit into the new academic year and grow into responsible, caring, and motivated learners.
